Find My Generator Editorial Review

Final sign-off currently uses the published FMG checklist and is owned by Andrew. It is an internal review, not an independent technical certification. Any future outside specialist will be named with their qualification, review scope, and date.

What the team does

We review manufacturer manuals, official product pages, established retailer listings, and public safety records. We organize those sources into consistent fields so output, fuel, runtime, weight, noise, price context, manuals, and accessories can be compared without hiding important differences in test conditions.

Recommendation and scoring logic is documented publicly. Affiliate relationships do not change product eligibility, fit calculations, safety guidance, evidence labels, or editorial conclusions.

What our byline means

An Andrew Petla byline identifies the person responsible for the research and writing. The editorial-review label means he completed the site’s source, calculation, safety, independence, and evidence checklist. It does not mean a second person, electrician, engineer, or manufacturer reviewed the page unless that reviewer is named. Hands-on claims appear only when a completed test record, instruments, measurements, evidence files, limitations, and a reviewer are published in the testing ledger.

Corrections and accountability

Specifications, prices, manuals, and product availability can change. Every catalog record carries a verification date, and pages identify missing information rather than filling gaps with estimates. Material corrections update the affected page and its review date.

To report an error, send the page URL, the field in question, and a current source through our contact page. Our complete standards are available in the editorial policy and data methodology.
