Official product questions & technical answers

Does OUPES offer a 30-day free return policy?
Yes. We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked return. No return shipping fees, restocking fees, or any additional hidden charges will be incurred.
Is it eligible for the 30% Federal Tax Rebate?
You could apply for 30% tax credit, when you install OUPES Guardian 6000 as a home power solution. 🗓️ Note: The program ends on December 31, 2025. Be sure to purchase and apply before then.
How long is the warranty?
Enjoy a 5-year standard warranty, plus a free 1-year extension when you complete the warranty registration , for a total of 6 years of coverage.
Can Guardian 6000 be compatible with B2 or B5 Extra Battery?
No. The Guardian 6000 is only compatible with G5 extra battery (each with a 4,608Wh capacity). . .
What should I do after receiving the product?
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend the following steps:. Carefully read the enclosed user manual. Follow the official YouTube channel for instructional videos. Join the Facebook user community for usage tips and guidance. Complete one full charge–discharge cycle before the first use.
How many OUPES 240W Solar Panels can the Guardian 6000 support in series?
The Guardian 6000 supports up to 5 OUPES 240W Solar Panels in series, based on its limits of ≤140V open-circuit voltage and ≤15A current.
How can I charge the Guardian 6000 using 240V AC power?
The Guardian 6000 is compatible with 240V AC charging. To utilize this function, please purchase a 240V AC charging cable and connect it directly to a 240V AC outlet.
Can this product charge an electric vehicle?
The Guardian 6000's 240V/50A outlet works with EV chargers. However, please note that the Guardian 6000 typically uses a floating ground. You will need to purchase a plug or portable EV charger that can adapt a floating ground to a ground-neutral bond. OUPES does not currently sell such products, so we recommend purchasing an item similar to the one in the linked product from other stores.
Can I connect two Guardian 6000 units in parallel to obtain double the output power?
No. The Guardian 6000 does not support parallel connection. A single unit provides 6000W of rated output and can briefly supply up to 7200W in Boost Mode. This output capacity is sufficient to power virtually all common household appliances.
Can I leave the Guardian 6000 connected to the solar panels overnight?
Yes, it is safe to leave the Guardian 6000 connected to your solar panels overnight. We've optimized the Guardian 6000's internal circuit design to enable 24/7 automatic charging management, so the MPPT controller will stop charging when there's no sunlight and automatically resume when the sun returns. This will not cause any damage to the unit or your panels.
Can the inverter ouput 240V while charging with 120V input?
No. When charging with 120V input, it supports 120V AC output and DC output. When charging with 240V input, the AC output is disabled, but DC output remains active. During solar (PV) charging, both AC and DC outputs can operate simultaneously.
Can I use third-party solar panels with the Guardian 6000?
Yes, you can. Please make sure the panels are compatible — the open-circuit voltage should be ≤ 140V , the current ≤ 15A , and the total power should match the MPPT specifications .
Does the Guardian 6000 support pass-through charging?
Yes. The Guardian 6000 supports pass-through charging. However, in bypass mode, AC charging input plus all outputs should not exceed 2400W.
Why does my Guardian 6000 only charge up to 90%?
The Guardian 6000 is set to stop charging at 90% capacity by default to help protect the battery and keep it performing well over time. If you’d like it to charge to 100%, you can easily adjust the charge limit in the Cleanergy app.
